Mr. Hilton McCann’s career in financial services spans three disciplines – banking, regulation and most recently - compliance.  As a banker, Mr. McCann was Company Secretary and Financial Controller of a number of banking subsidiaries operating “offshore”.  As a regulator, he has been responsible for licensing and supervising Banks, Insurance Companies, Collective Investment Schemes and Fiduciary businesses.  Mr. McCann joined Abraaj Capital Limited in March 2006 where he is the company’s money laundering reporting officer and head of compliance.  

Mr. McCann holds a primary degree and two Masters degrees.  He has three professional qualifications and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management.  Mr McCann’s first book (Offshore Finance) was published in 2006.
