Ahamed Abdul Wahid is the Chief Financial Officer of the Private Equity Funds business, Mr. Ahamed Abdul Wahid is responsible for the private equity fund administration functions of Abraaj. He joined Abraaj at the inception in 2002 as a Financial Controller and has been involved in fund administration since then. He has 14 years of experience in investments and accounting with CX Holdings Limited, a family office in Sri Lanka, where he held the position Director of Investments and Head of Research and Analysis.

He started his career in 1983 in the Accounting Division of an international bank in Sri Lanka. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
