Mr. Faisal Khan has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector gained in Asia and Europe in both emerging and developed markets.

Prior to joining Abraaj, Mr. Khan was with ABN AMRO Bank N.V., London.  He closed several publicly rated and publicly placed transactions during this period in Structured Finance.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Khan was a Director in the Change Management and then the Strategy team at ABN AMRO Bank, responsible for the strategy and execution of key business initiatives.  During this time, he helped implement the global sector coverage model in ABN AMRO Bank. 

Mr. Khan joined ABN AMRO Bank in Asia in Corporate Finance and led a team covering clients across a wide spectrum of industries with a focus on the oil & gas, power, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals sectors.

Mr. Khan started his career with KPMG in England and was part of their Financial Services team, managing relationships with large financial institutions and he is also a Chartered Accountant (FCA - ICAEW).
