Glen Helton presently is the CEO of Kudu Corporation based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Kudu is Saudi Arabia’s leading restaurant company with 337 locations in the Middle East with plans to double the size of the company in the next five years. Kudu has a portfolio of Quick Service, Fast Casual and Casual dining restaurants with 271 Kudu locations, 55 Al Khafeef, 3 Can Café’s, 4 Al Baal, 3 Ab Del Wahab’s, and one Tea Garden.
Prior to Kudu Corporation Helton served on the leadership team as Senior Vice President of Global Operations for Burger King Corporation (BKC) operating 12,600 restaurants in 83 countries around the world and played an instrumental part in their recent widely publicized turn-around.
Before joining BKC, Helton was the former president and chief operating officer for Strategic Restaurants Acquisitions Corp. (SRAC), the second largest franchise group at that time with Burger King Corp. In that position, he was responsible for the day-to-day operations for 281 BURGER KING® restaurants. Helton previously has served in senior roles at Boston Market and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.
Glen serves the communities he lives in by supporting causes that focus on the development and education of young lives that aspire to be entrepreneurs one day. In Saudi Arabia, Glen and his team are implementing a program for young Saudi’s that are a few years out of college and aspire to own a business. The program is called E2E Entrepreneur Program, where candidates that join the program will learn all aspects of managing a restaurant business and can become a franchise owner within 5 years of starting their journey as an entrepreneur.
